Pooch Patrol Scoop 🐶 September 2024
Hi fellow pawparents,
Earlier in the summer, I restarted skateboarding again. It's something I've been doing since 13-years-old. It provides freedom, fun, and a full body workout. I also started woodworking in the spring and will resume projects in the fall.
I believe it's really important to do fun things in life. We all have responsibilities but if your mind and heart aren't happy, you won't get anything accomplished.
No matter how old you are, you can start that thing you've been wanting to do. The key is to have courage and take the first step.

General Updates 🐶

Chuck's Busted Ankle
Ironically, I recently broke my left ankle while having fun skateboarding with my son, Turner. I have good mobility with a knee scooter and taking life one day at a time. While I'm recovering, Turner has taken over client walks since they trust him and he knows our safety commands.
People Aggressive Dogs
We've decided to no longer accept dogs that are aggressive to people. I recently had a meet and greet with a dog that attacked and bit me several times. Dogs that are unpredictable are a safety issue for me, my family, and other pooch clients. See our FAQ page for more info.
Cleaning Fee
Some of our puppy and senior clients have been experiencing incontinence issues. Pet urine is very difficult to get out of rugs and carpet in our home. As a result, we will be charging a cleaning fee ($10 per day) for select clients on invoices. We appreciate your understanding.

Small Biz Shout Outs 👐

Personal Beast
Located in Montavilla on SE Stark St, this women-owned small business is devoted to helping pawparents find the safest products and most ethical companies for your furbabies. They carry dog & cat food, training treats, dog harnesses & clothing, leashes, cat toys, and more. Stop by and say hello to Nyko, one of their shop pooches with big ears.

Build & Paint
We hired Steve's company to paint the exterior of our house a few years ago. His team was very organized, meticulous, and got the job done for a reasonable price. They also replaced our main bay window which helped keep our pooch clients cool over the summer. They're also located in Montavilla so hit them up for your next painting project.

Press Play Print
If you need die-cut stickers, banners, custom cut vinyl graphics for vehicles, store front windows, posters, or signs printed for your small business - reach out to Miguel. He's also a graphic designer and illustrator so if you need someone to prepare your files, he can help.
Fresh Tunes 🎧
Goodbye summer and say hello to the rain with cooler temps. I love it and here's what I've been jamming on lately:
